Insulate the house from the inside with our Insulation System: The insulation system involves installing an aerated concrete wall with blocks of 10 cm thick, placed 8 cm from the outer wall. This creates a cavity that is filled with EPS beads while the wall is being erected. The top 25 cm of the cavity is filled with an insulation board. The front wall has a thickness of 18 cm, excluding the outer facade.
Connections to windows and doors: At connections to windows or doors, provisions must be made to keep the beads in the cavity. This can be done with aerated concrete closing pieces or cavity brushes, finished with plaster or plaster panels.
Important to know:
- Ensure that the cavity is sealed airtight with PUR to prevent condensation.

Connections to windows and doors
The EPS beads are loose granules, which means that provisions must be made at connections to windows or doors to ensure that the beads remain in the cavity. You can do this using, for example, aerated concrete closing pieces or cavity brushes, both of which can be ordered separately. If you choose cavity brushes, this can be finished with a plaster or plasterboard. This is not necessary with our aerated concrete closing pieces, also called reveal pieces. You can glue this in the work and can then be finished as desired.
Important to know
With this insulation system it is important to know that the opening that is filled with insulation, the cavity, must be airtight. So make sure that all cracks and seams are sealed with pur.
